3rd Quarter Report of Ukrainian Stock
Exchange
The exchange turnover for the third quarter has increased in 1,7 times in compare to the
previous quarter and has made 5,5 million dollars. Such growth is connected to purchase
during privatization the new state blocks of shares, attractive to the investors, which
were sold for the prices above to their nominal value. The exchange turn-over in sector
privatization for the third quarter in 3 times is more than in second and has made of 2,1
million dollars.
The secondary exchange market is written by increase of an exchange turnover in sector of
the liabilities in 3rd quarter of a current year in comparison with the second quarter. It
is connected to supply of the bills of metallurgical and coal industry firms. In 3rd
quarter the bills were sold on total of 3,1 million dollars.
